Ukraine suspects Russian hackers of cyberattack against Kiev airport

KIEV, Jan 18 (PRIME) – Ukraine suspects Russian hackers of attacking a computer network of the Kiev airport of Borispol, Andrei Lysenko, an official spokesman for the administration of the Ukrainian president for matters of the military activities in Donbas, said Monday.

“It was a second case. It was very much alike the one committed earlier in Ivano-Frankovsk…We suspect that the attack was done from Russia,” Lysenko said.

Russia has not commented on the matter yet.

On January 16, Borispol said that the airport’s IT specialists detected virus Black Energy. Activities to ensure cyber security at the airport are still under way.
